Hello!
I'd like to address each point individually so that we can efficiently problem solve this issue and clear the air between us.
- Selling ranks that give players multiple gameplay-centric advantages.
We do not give anyone any advantages for buying ranks. You may not ever buy your place amongst higher ranks in our server and it will never be allowed. I pride this server on being a non pay-to-win safe space. When buying a 50 dollar rank called "Archmage" on our store you can receive a "donator magic." We planned on handing this out at events but if it is not enough I will open an option in the voteshop so that people can occure points to redeem a "donator magic." (I will expand more on this in the third point.)
- Selling the primary form of currency, and doing so in a way that resembles gambling/slots.
I will admit we do this but I will remove it off our shop so that we are more compliant with the rules of EULA. I was unaware of this violation and we will correct it immediately. There are ways to obtain this for free. In reference to your last point "Furthermore, it has come to our attention that the post in ā servers was brigaded for reactions, and for an EULA non-compliant reward." You can obtain this through occuring vote points in our voteshop. In case you are not aware of how this works you can vote to get vote points and in return you may redeem a "Vote Crate Key."
- Selling skills that are otherwise difficult to obtain or unobtainable.
Even though it was planned to be handed out at events I will also add "Donator Magic" as said before to our vote shop so that there is a more realistic and direct way to obtain these magics. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for bringing this up to us. We hope that someday you allow us to repost. I would greatly appreciate that when we correct our mistakes that you allow us to post our server once again. We have a great community and would love to share it with all of the magicspells plugin.
Yo, thanks for the quick response.

I'll also use Archmage as an example here since it's the highest rank. Surely, things like the prefix, nick, and particle trail are fine, since they're cosmetic and those have been deemed as fine by Mojang, their rulings, and the community. However, some here have argued that the Jewels, a boosted /sethome, the Jewel Crate Key, and possibly the 1 Magic of your Choice gives unfair advantages for those who buy the rank.
It's a common misconception that, because what you can buy isn't insanely op, it's balanced, and it's allowed to be sold. From the perspectives of the people who have brought this up to me, and from what I have seen Mojang rule against, any sort of advantage in an environment like this is EULA non-compliant.
- Selling the primary form of currency, and doing so in a way that resembles gambling/slots.
Being able to obtain Jewels for free (aka gameplay) is basically the point as to why being able to gamble for it is EULA non-compliant. It's a video game after all, and it's understood that what's basically gold can be obtained by playing the game. Players being able to skip this progression with irl money is what makes it EULA non-compliant.
In regards to brigading the post, we were more concerned about how the post was brigaded in general, and for any sort of reward, for the sake of making KoF look better in the eyes of those who view #servers. Furthermore, from what I'm seeing, the reward was a Jewel Crate Key.
- Selling skills that are otherwise difficult to obtain or unobtainable.
Once again, even though something is made more obtainable for free via gameplay, doesn't mean that it's allowed to be sold.
I think I see where the confusion is here. It's not that an item on the store is available for free via events; it's the other way around. An item available for free via events can be bought on the store.
In this case, even if you create avenues where non-paying players can receive normally pay-exclusive rewards, given the same circumstances, players who pay will already have the rewards/be ahead. When these events, votes, chances, or giveaways are not happening, paying players can still pay to progress faster over other non-paying players.
